When is the 2018 Point in Time Count?
Friday, January 26, 2018!

Mandatory Training will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:00 am at  Community Church of Vero Beach, 1901 23rd Street.

 The Point in Time Count is an annual census to collect data on the needs of people experiencing homelessness in our community.  The count provides an opportunity to increase awareness of homelessness.

Volunteers Needed!

Surveyors are needed in all areas of the community. Surveyors will volunteer to either do telephone screening, feeding site screening or outreach to homeless campsites, parking lots and other areas where homeless individuals and families may be.  Screening forms are available here: 2018-Annual-PIT-Survey

Database Validators are needed at Agencies to call individuals on wait lists and in databases to verify their homeless status on the day of the count.

Care Packages Needed – If you would like to donate care packets, they should arrive prior to the PIT date. Care packets should include items such as soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, socks, and other toiletry items.
